Bunny O'Hare is a comedy film that follows the antics of a widow, Bunny O'Hare (Bette Davis). She finds herself broke and homeless after her adult children Lulu (Reva Rose) and Ad (John Astin) deplete her funds. It is during this time that she meets plumber Bill Green (Ernest Borgnine), who turns out to really be bank robber William Greunwald. Bunny hopes to regain the money she lost when the bank foreclosed on her home, so she blackmails Bill by telling him she will keep his identity a secret if he teaches her how to rob banks. With Bunny dressed in a blond wig, hat and sunglasses, and Bill in a leather vest and bell-bottom jeans, the two rob a bank and escape on a motorcycle. The success of the crime makes Bunny want to rob other banks. Can Bunny and Bill continue their robbery spree with the police hot on their tail?
