Busted is a comedy film directed by and starring "Lost Boy" Corey Feldman that focuses on an average day for police officer David Carroll (Feldman) and his partner Clifford (Corey Haim). Both policemen work for the Amity Police Department and have grown tired of fighting crime using traditional law enforcement techniques. Officer David then gets the great idea to keep crime within the police station by not only opening a brothel using empty jail cells, but also by employing criminals to work at the station. The plan works for a while satisfying his nerdy misfit police force and Amity's citizens, due to the fact crime has left the streets. That is until the bitter Mayor Davies (Rance Howard) decides to clean up police headquarters by hiring the tough Captain Mary Mae (Mariana Morgan) to take charge of things. Officer David and Cliff then do everything in their power to change the Captain's plans and in the end, the Mayor and the citizens of Amity get a big surprise. The now older actors Feldman and Haim team up one last time in Busted and make viewers think twice about small-town law enforcement.moreless
