Movie Summary

Director:

Released:
2007
Rating:
R
Caffeine is a 2006 comedy starring Marsha Thomason, Mena Suvari, Breckin Meyer, Katherine Heigl, and Mike Vogel. In the film, a neurotic, commitment-phobic young man runs into his ex-girlfriend while super high on dope. A type-A control freak finds out that her fiancé is a transvestite. A shy girl suffers through a blind-date from hell, who is just on the date because he has been led to believe that she has sex on the first date. A possessive boyfriend discovers that his girlfriend is an ex-porn star. A man excuses his threesome through the reasoning that it did not really count as a threesome, since the girls were identical twins. And all of that during a single lunch rush at a hip London coffeehouse. The characters’ relationships are somehow all inter-connected and so they must find ways, together, to deal with issues of fidelity, commitment, betrayal, and forgiveness. Caffeine is rated R for mild violence, adult language, and adult content.
