Caged Fury is a 1948 action movie featuring the story of a homicidal maniac who derives twisted pleasure from killing others. He is on a killing spree as the movie begins, and somehow manages to get himself hired at a circus job where he uses the animals that are kept in cages for his evil plans. He comes up with twisted ideas that will result in murder on a massive scale. This is an extremely fast paced and action oriented movie, with the local sheriff making it his priority to find the killer and stop him before he does any more damage. There are some fast-paced exchanges and fighting scenes, with a few shoot outs in particular attempting to add to the drama and tension. The fact that the movie was shot with an old 16 mm print gives it a vintage black and white feel. Buster Crabbe, Richard Denning and Sheila Ryan all star in this classic.
