Canyon Crossroads is a 1956 movie that tells a tale of a mining engineer named Larry Kendall (Richard Basehart). Larry believes that he knows where a huge deposit of uranium is located in the desert. Along with a geology professor by the name of Andrew Rand (Russell Collins) and his daughter Katherine Rand (Phyllis Kirk), Larry explores the desert only to run into his sinister rival, Larson (Stephen Elliot). Larson does whatever he can to hinder the progress of the group, including sending his henchman Pete Barnwell (Charles Wagenheim) to interfere. Larson wants to steal the claim to the uranium after Larry finds the valuable element. Later in the movie, Andrew suffers an injury, leaving Larry and Katherine to continue their search for the uranium by themselves. Will Larry and Katherine find the mother lode of uranium, while facing several challenges along the way? Alfred Werker directs this black-and-white western adventure movie.
