Captain Kidd And The Slave Girl is an action adventure on the high seas. The Earl of Bellomont (James Seay) saves Captain Kidd (Anthony Dexter) from hanging only because he wants to find the pirate's hidden treasure. The Earl's devious plot involves disguising a spoiled rich girl, Judith Duvall (Eva Gabor), as a slave and planting her aboard Kidd's ship in the hopes that she can sweet-talk the Captain. However, Judith does not take well to her undercover position. Chores are beneath her, and she bickers with the Captain. Kidd tries to tame the feisty slave, but soon the two truly fall in love. Judith, now despising the Earl, teams up with Kidd in his battle across the seven seas. Kidd's trusted friend Jay is played by Alan Hale Jr. who later went on to star as the Skipper on the popular sitcom Gilligan's Island. This 1954 swashbuckler was directed by prolific American film and television director Lew Landers.
