Cat Women of the Moon is a 1953 cult science fiction movie directed by Arthur Hilton. The film follows five astronauts who are traveling to the dark side of the moon on a scientific expedition. Once on the moon the astronauts discover a cave that somehow has a breathable atmosphere. As they explore the subterranean cavern they find that it is full of ferocious and love starved moon women (clad in tight fitting leotard outfits, of course) who have not seen men in centuries. However the air is escaping from the caverns so the moon women are secretly planning to capture the astronauts and steal there ship so as to escape to Earth. This film is exactly as cheesy as you'd expect it to be! It even has a vicious giant moon spider as well! Surprisingly the score to this sci fi stinker was written by Elmer Bernstein.
