Movie is a full length motion picture about the adventures two aspiring filmmakers have when trying to produce an independent film. Writer/director duo Alex Walker (Brian Gant) and Evan Campo (Paul Jones) have a simple goal in mind, to get their movie about warring drug gangs in New York City made. It sounds simple enough, and with the help of producer Cindy (Mary Culmone) they gather the cast and crew together and prepare for filming. However, the one thing that's not simple about this feature is figuring out a way to pay for it. In a story of life imitating art, Alex and Evan start to peddle drugs to make ends meet on the production, and when that falls just short, Cindy (also an erotic masseuse) takes on a few house calls. But the hijinks really begin with the filming itself, as the lead actor is certifiably nuts, the supporting actor's agent decides to rewrite the script, and Walker seems more intent on humiliating Campo on set. Frank Sluszka directs this wacky and ridiculous romp that pokes good, clean, fun at the sometimes outrageous world of independent films.moreless

    Released 2002
Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels is a documentary film of filmmaker/comic writer Kevin Smith as he sets out to interview comic book writer, editor, and publisher Stan Lee about his life and his achievements. Stan Lee, in joint efforts with several artists, launched Marvel Comics from a small publishing house to the large multimedia corporation it is today with their co-creations of iconic comic book characters, such as Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Avengers, Iron Man, the Hulk, and Thor. The documentary is broken down into two separate films, "Creating Spider-Man" and "Here Come the Heroes" with a side interview of Lee's wife, Joan, and a few home movies. In "Creating Spider-Man", Smith asks Stan Lee about the original idea of the web-crawling Peter Parker, the collaboration with artists Stan Kirby and Steve Ditko, who ultimately created the well-known Spider-Man costume, and the many TV and film adaptations, including the then soon to be released Sam Raimi direct, Spider-Man. In "Here Come the Heroes", Smith guides Stan Lee's train of thought to his other creations with an emphasis on the cosmically altered Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, and the mutant outcasts the X-Men as Lee worked with the novel idea of superheroes with a flawed humanity, the kind that had tempers and faults instead of perfection. Smith, an avid comic book fan himself, creates the feel of an intimate discussion with a legend and the father of legends, sharing the stories and artistic process of the past forty years of Lee's long career at Marvel Comics.moreless

Many Christians struggle with personal evangelism, sharing the message of Jesus Christ with others. One reason for this is that religion is generally considered a private affair in our society. To talk to others about your faith seems a little pushy and in bad taste. But Christian personal evangelism is not trying to convert others to your particular denomination, but to bring the good news about the love of God, forgiveness in Jesus, and the offer of a new life. For many sincere Christians this is a difficult and awkward task. They feel guilty about withholding their witness. They know what Jesus can do in the lives of those they deeply care about, but they just don't know how to get started and what to say. Go For It! can help. The series shows why sharing Christ is important and provides Bible-based advice on how to witness. Each of the four sessions was filmed live and features Ian Knox, a British evangelist. Designed for either group or personal study.moreless
