CB4 is a comedy "mockumentary" starring Chris Rock that was released in 1993. Albert (Chris Rock), Euripides (Allen Payne), and Otis (Deezer D) make up the rap group CB4 and will do anything to make it in the music industry. This includes asking for help from local club owner/crime boss, Gusto (Charlie MUrphy). When their initial meeting ends with Gusto getting arrested, Albert decides to adopt his criminal persona and becomes MC Gusto. CB4 quickly becomes the hottest rap group in the country and the three friends must learn to cope with their success. Politician Virgil Robinson (Phil Hartman) is on a quest to ban the group due to their obscene songs like "Sweat From My Balls". The stress of taking on a politician, money, drugs, and women come between the members of CB4 and the group splits up. During all the ups and downs of CB4, there is documentarian A. White (Chris Elliott) with his camera to catch all of the twists and turns.
