Chamber of Horrors is a 1966 horror film directed by Hy Averback and written by Stephen Kandel. In the film, Jason Cravette (Patrick O'Neal) is a maniacal man who escaped being hung as punishment for a crime by cutting off his own hand. Anthony Draco (Ceasare Danova) and Harold Blount (Wilfred Hyde-White) are successful Baltimore-based wax museum owners who also moonlight as private detectives with their good friend, Senor Pepe De Reyes (Jose Rene Ruiz). The three amateur sleuths takes interest in the mysterious case of Jason Cravette, and decide they want to investigate his case. Their hopes are they will be able to track him down for the police. The trio experiences some success, but that same success draws the attention of the elusive killer to themselves. Can the police finally capture Jason Cravette, and put him to death, with the private detectives help, or will the killer come after the amateur sleuths for meddling?
