Championship Training: Heart Of A Champion is a documentary about light-heavyweight champ Roy Jones Jr. The film chronicles his rise to the top in the sport of boxing and the rigorous training regimen that got him there. The film offers an intense look at the preparation for his rematch with Antonio Tarver. Championship Training: Heart Of A Champion also features footage of the fight itself as it took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. This inspirational tale may be the motivation some need to begin a workout program of their own. It includes invaluable footage of fitness guru Mackie Shilstone as he trains Roy Jones Jr. and prepares him for the most important fight of his career. His workouts include twelve exercises and take as little as twenty minutes. Their strength, however, lies in their intensity and they can be used to push anyone to their maximum performance. The film is licensed to Image Entertainment and was released in 2006.
