Che, Part 2 is the second installment of a two-part, feature-length film titled Che by Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Ocean's Eleven). Benicio del Toro stars as Che Guevara - the Argentine marxist, physicist, and revolutionary. Where Part 1 focuses on political upheaval in Cuba, Part 2 focuses on Guevara's attempt to bring the revolution to South America. After successfully overthrowing the Cuban government in 1958, Guevara goes into hiding as he liked and respected by few. When he resurfaces years later, he is in Bolivia. He begins to rally troops a second time, hoping to bring the revolution to all of South America. And although his ploy tp revolutionize the continent ultimately fails, his perseverance, idealism and sacrifice lives on. Benicio del Toro delivers an amazing performance, for which he received a Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2009 as well as a Goya Award for Best Spanish Lead Actor. Que viva la revolucion!
