Chef Donald is a 1941 animated Disney short. Donald Duck (Clarence Nash) has decided to take up a new hobby and is throwing his heart and soul into the undertaking. With the guidance of a radio show, he hopes to create a plate of delicious waffles, browned to perfection. However, Donald is not very good at following directions and gets easily distracted from the task at hand. Everything starts to go downhill when Donald reaches for the rubber cement instead of the baking powder. Before too long, Donald realizes that he cannot stir his batter anymore. To make matters worse, the waffle batter starts zooming around the room and bouncing off the walls like a rubber band. When the stalwart duck tries to move ahead with his baking plans, he just runs into more and more complications, including getting his tail feathers stuck in the waffle iron. It seems Donald may never get his waffles.
