Child's Play 2: Chucky's Back is a 1990 horror film created as the sequel to the original Child's Play and is the second film in the Chucky franchise. The film was written by Don Mancini (Child's Play, Child's Play 3, Bride of Chucky) and directed by John Lafia. (The Blue Iguana) Child's Play 2 takes place one year after the events of the first film and as the subtitle suggests; Chucky is back. Alex Vincent reprises his role as Andy along with his mother Catherine Hicks. The family has decided to sue the toy company for allowing an evil spirit to possess one of their dolls. The problem comes when the family does not have any evidence to support such spirit claims. Andy's mother, Karen gets admitted to a mental facility because of lack of evidence. Andy must go to Midtown Children's Crisis Center to wait for a foster home and all the while Chucky is waiting in the midst of everything.moreless

I really enjoyed this movie most of all out of what is about to become 6 movies, not 5 anymore, because "Curse of Chucky" is nearly finished. Just another month and it's out on DVD, but not in theaters. Gee, that is just too bad. But I love Chucky so much I just decided to once begin my own horror flick, and now I can't wait to see how "Curse of Chucky" does!moreless
