Chloe is a 2010 dramatic thriller from director Atom Egoyan. In the film, Catherine Stewart (Julianne Moore) is a very successful gynecologist who is married to David Stewart (Liam Neeson). Catherine goes out of her way to plan an elaborate surprise birthday party for David. Unfortunately, David calls at the last-minute and says he is not coming. This compounded by David's flirtatious behavior is the last straw for Catherine. She is convinced her husband is cheating on her and vows to find out for sure. To accomplish this, Catherine hires local prostitute Chloe (Amanda Seyfried), to test her husband's loyalty. Chloe's job is to test David's fidelity per Catherine's instructions and report back to her. It is agreed beforehand that nothing is to go farther than Catherine instructs. Chloe upholds her end of the bargain and reports her meetings with David to Dr. Stewart. Catherine makes a series of bad decisions that put her family in unexpected danger. The Stewart family must now try to survive the complications Catherine's suspicions have created.moreless
