CIA: Exiled is a 2009 film about a former CIA operative and current American consulate security agent named Stephen Guerin (William Peterson). Living a cushy island life, things change when his friend Cornelius Wettering (George C. Scott) shows up seeking help. Wettering is a retired ship captain who comes to Curacao to escape his violent assailants, South African spies, and spend his remaining days on a peaceful island. However, his low-profile cover is blown after he successfully diffuses a situation with terrorists at the local bank. This leads the bad guys right to his door searching for a piece of key evidence they believe he has hidden for years. Guerin and Wettering must take up arms to protect each other in this action thriller based on the gripping novel by James D. Buchanan. Carl Schultz directs this suspenseful movie of a man with a shady past who needs his friend in the darkest hour.
