A Classic Action Adventure of the Old West on Cimarron Strip. Army Private Bill Mason (Jon Voight), a tough demolition expert for the U.S. Cavalry, is assigned to the Cimarron Cavalry Post with his father, Post Commander Major Ben Covington (Andrew Duggan), who abandoned Mason after his birth. Covington is unaware that Mason is his long lost son, but Mason, assuming the name of his stepfather, harbors a burning hatred for Covington. Mason's anger with Covington is the catalyst for a fight with a fellow officer resulting in Mason's lock up in the Post stockage. Covington learns that Mason is his son, but before he can make peace with him, Mason escapes the prison and joins up with the ruthless Deeker Gang. Savagely pillaging the entire territory, the Deeker Gang is pursued by the U.S. Cavalry, Marshal Jim Crown (Stuart Whitman) and Major Covington ride out together to save Covington's son in a violent and bloody showdown.
