Cisco has been busted a few times for selling drugs on the side. One day, Cisco is approached by Sergeant Leo Holland (played by Gene Hackman), a crooked cop who wants Cisco to move a great deal of marijuana for him. Cisco wants to stay out of the drug game, but Sgt. Holland threatens him with jail time if he doesn't comply. Cisco agrees, beginning an adventure that leads to some strange places, from the mean and dangerous streets, to the familiar peace of recording studios, to the arms of a rich young woman.
