City of Industry is a crime film directed by John Irvin that centers on Roy Egan (Harvey Keitel), a retired thief who ends up being pulled back into his old criminal ways by his youngest brother Lee (Timothy Hutton) for one last gig in Palm Springs, Florida. Naïve and a bit overenthusiastic about this can't-miss-heist, Lee is killed by the hot-tempered wheelman, Skip (Stephen Dorff), for his share of the deal. With the lack of "honor-amongst-thieves" mentality in the newest generation of criminals, Roy begins the hunt to find his brother's kill and the reason why Skip was so quick to betray them. Despite his former retired status, Roy holds nothing back as he works through the dark underground scene in Los Angeles in his task of revenge. City of Industry is a cat and mouse game between a life-long professional and the psychotic unpredictable class of crook solely out for the kicks and the money.
