Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold is a film about the disappearance of two operatives Melvin and Matthew Johnson in the course of an undercover mission in Hong Kong. This disappearance sends Cleopatra Jones (Tamara Dobson) to Hong Kong to trace her fellow operatives. The disappearance trail leads Cleopatra to a Dragon Lady (Stella Stevens), who owns the Macao casino and is a major stakeholder in the drug trade in Hong Kong. Jones teams up with a local detective Tanny (Ni Tien) in an effort to track down the missing agents. The Macao casino is a guise for underground drug operations as Tanny and Jones later discover. A do or die battle ensues aboard the glam casino with kicks and blows being exchanged between the combative detectives and the egregious gang of the Dragon Lady. With exemplary costars such as Esther Rolle ("Good Times") and Norman Fell ("Three's Company"), Cleopatra Jones and Casino of Gold is an action packed movie that will keep you yearning for more.moreless
