Cleopatra Jones is a 1973 drama directed by Jack Starret that oozes 70's culture. Cleopatra Jones (Tamara Dobson) lives the life of an incredibly beautiful black model but that is only a cover. She is actually a jiving Federal Super Agent in charge of chasing drug kingpins and putting them out of business, permanently. Cleopatra is feared by many drug kingpins because of her vast martial arts abilities and her amazing '73 Corvette Stingray that is equipped with everything a super agent needs including a sub-machine gun in the door. In the movie, Cleopatra's main nemesis is Mommy (Shelly Winters). Mommy's fear of Cleopatra is obvious and she is constantly staying one step ahead of the heroine through her minions and corrupt police officers. Mommy is a successful drug kingpin and the polar opposite of Cleopatra. While Cleopatra fights for justice and morality, Mommy valiantly defends her corrupt business and the differences don't stop there. The battles that ensues between the heroine and villain will keep viewers engaged till the end.moreless
