Click is a 2006 comedy/drama directed by Frank Coraci. Architect Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) has a beautiful wife named Donna (Kate Beckinsale), and two adorable children, 7-year-old Ben (Joseph Castanon) and 5-year-old Samantha (Tatum McCann). Although he loves his wife and kids, Michael, who is stressed out from trying to get a promotion, tries to shirk some of his annoying family duties that take his time away from work. As Michael is attempting to watch a video for an architectural project one night, he gets upset that his remote is not working. He heads out to get a replacement at the local Bed, Bath & Beyond, where he meets a strange employee in the "Beyond" section who gives him a special remote. Once Michael gets the remote back home, he unexpectedly discovers that it has the magical power to pause, fast-forward, and rewind time. At first, Michael happily uses the remote to avoid the unpleasant moments in his life and skip to the good ones. When the remote turns itself on autopilot and begins fast-forwarding rapidly through his life, Michael begins to realize that each moment spent with his family is precious.
