Closing Escrow

Movie Summary

Director:
Unknown
Released:
2006
Rating:
PG
Closing Escrow is a mockumentary comedy starring April Barnett, Ryan Smith, Wendi McLendon-Covey (of Reno 911 fame), Cedric Yarbrough, and Andrew Friedman. Released in 2007, Closing Escrow gives viewers an often hilarious peek into the problems associated with buying a house. In this film, three separate families are all interested in, and are trying to buy, the exact same property. They stop at nothing to make it happen as each hires a quirky, odd ball real-estate agent to get the job done. This bidding war tests the limits of their marriages, strains their families, and hilariously tests the mettle of the respective real-estate agents involved, much to their chagrin. It is a realistic look at the lengths some people will go to in order to get a property for their very own. Closing Escrow is directed by two different directors: Armen Kaprelian and Kent Llewellyn and is produced for the indie market by Magnolia Studio.
