Coalition, directed by Joseph Ariola, is the 2004 drama based on the inner workings of New York City's construction business. Written by Joseph Ariola, a member of the Operation Engineers Union of New York City, and Robert Cea, a New York City police department detective, the movie is based on the true story about the non-union minority labor forces trying to take down the powerful and lucrative construction business in New York. While the police are trying to stop corrupt coalition workers from the lethal group called Survival of the Black Man, the mob is setting up coalition deals and unions are fighting to stop impending layoffs.
