Cold Feet is a 1989 comedy and caper film starring Keith Carradine, Sally Kirkland and Tom Waits. Three fledgling jewel thieves are on the run after a successful heist. They are trying to make it to Mexico. The leader of group is Monte Latham (Keith Carradine), and his girlfriend is the sultry Maureen (Sally Kirkland). Rounding out this trio of thieves is the hit man Kenny (Tom Waits). The thieves plan to smuggle the stolen jewels over the Mexican-American border. The trio develops a plan to surgically implant the jewels into a racehorse thus allowing the jewels to go undetected by the border patrol. However, a power struggle soon ensues within the group, jeopardizing the plan. One of the thieves threatens to destroy the entire operation, because they are mentally unsound. The action is non stop until the end and leaves the audience guessing to see these three thieves can get the jewels across the border.
