Coma Girl: The State of Grace follows Grace Anderson (Dina Jacobsen) as her inability to feel emotion transforms into a superpower and leads her to take on the persona of Coma Girl and living a life of numbness. Nothing bothered Grace. Minor annoyances didn't grate on her nerves, but she was also unable to feel happiness or joy. But her life is thrown out of balance when her perfect older sister Mandy (Amanda Orton) decides to move to Normandy and leave Grace on her own for the first time. Now, Grace must find herself a new home, and the turmoil leads her to question the choices she's made since her parents died 20 years ago. Following the tradition of the hero's quest, Grace abandons her old life and exposes herself to new, dangerous situations on her path to maturity. Along the way, she'll find an unlikely new career that gives her purpose and learns to let new people enter her life. The 2005 comedy was directed and written by Dina Jacobsen.moreless
