Comanche Station is a 1960 American Western movie by director Budd Boetticher, starring Randolph Scott. The movie is about the brave loner Jefferson Cody (Randolph Scott) whose wife has been captured by the Comanches. While he cannot save her, he saves another man'''s wife, Nancy Lowe (Nancy Gates). When he sets out to bring her back to her husband, he is joined by a charming but greedy outlaw, Ben Lane (Claude Akins), and his sidekicks. He then finds out that Nancy is wanted for a reward, a very high one, in fact, of $5,000, and Lane wants to return her himself and cash in on the reward. Lane is a long time enemy of Cody'''s, however, and he will not allow that to happen. Now Cody must protect Nancy simultaneouslyfrom Lane and his sidekicks as well as the marauding Comanches, who are preparing for war. There are sure to be some pretty great show downs, so Western fans should check out Comanche Station.moreless
