Con Man is a hilarious and creative mockumentary of the world's most famous film festival, Cannes Film festival. In it, film producer Sly Lenner is in Cannes for the festival but is unable to pay his bills. He decides to make a bet with a fellow film executive that he can make anybody famous at the Cannes festival and use them to raise millions of dollars. Sly chooses a young cab driver named Frank to parade around the festival as a genius new screenwriter. Surprisingly, Sly's abilities are astounding as he actually succeeds in making Frank the talk of the town. He even manages to convince almost every important celebrity to play a role in the film including Johnny Depp, John Malkovich and Benicio del Toro. Not only does the film offer a never-before-seen look at the reality of this star-studded event, but it offers quite a few laughs for the viewer.moreless
