A Connecticut Yankee is a fantasy comedy movie directed by David Butler and produced by the Fox Film Corporation in 1931. The movie is based around Hank Martin (Will Rogers), a supplier of radio equipment, who is asked to make a delivery to a huge mansion in the midst of a thunderstorm. Upon arriving the drama and horrors begin as Hank is confronted by a screaming girl who begs him to help her get away. He then meets a man claiming to be the girl's friend and a second girl who warns him to ignore what the first one is saying. All of a sudden he hears a voice which announces that the court of King Arthur is in session, and Hank cannot believe where he has landed himself. He must somehow prove that he has magical powers in order to stay alive, which he does by lighting a cigarette lighter. However, he must find a way to escape all the madness and find his way out of the house.moreless
