Conspiracy is a 2008 action movie released straight to DVD starring Val Kilmer, Jennifer Esposito, and Gary Cole. The movie is a noir film based off of a movie called Bad Day at Black Rock, a western movie from the 1950's. Conspiracy is a story about a man, William Macpherson (Val Kilmer), who served as a special agent in the Marine Corps during the Iraq war. Machperson, a.k.a. "Spooky", is long retired when he finally decides to visit an ex-comrade of his named Miguel Silva (Greg Serano), who has urged Macpherson to visit. When Macpherson arrives in Miguel's town, a place called New Lago close to the Mexican border, he cannot trace his whereabouts. Everyone in New Lago is mysteriously unfamiliar with the Silva family. As Macpherson further investigates his friend's disappearance, he learns Miguel and his family have been killed by a greedy corporate tyrant named Rhodes (Gary Cole) who plans on exploiting Mexican labor in New Lago. Macpherson is livid and swears he will bring hell to the land on which Rhodes lives. This is an action thriller you don't want to miss!moreless
