Cookie is a high energy comedy that focuses on the relationship between a teenage girl and her parents. It centers on the character of Cookie (Emily Lloyd) who is an energetic, rebellious, and outspoken teenage girl who has had many run-ins with the law. She is growing up in Brooklyn and somehow manages to outsmart the police every time she runs into them. She has even run away from the mob a few times. As she runs around Brooklyn causing trouble for her and others around her, she is also trying to build a relationship with her estranged father (Peter Falk). Cookie's mother (Dianne Wiest) tries desperately to push her daughter towards her father so that they can have a better relationship, but Cookie often shows reluctance. This movie is all over the place and will definitely hold your attention. It's a funny movie that tells the heartwarming tale about a father and daughter and their budding relationship.
