Cop Dog begins when a police officer is killed on duty, leaving behind Robby (Billy Unger) feeling angry and alone. When Robby finds his father's former canine partner, Marlowe, alone in a cage, he convinces his mother to allow the dog to come home. Romping around, best friends at first sight like a boy and his dog are prone to be, Robby and the cop dog Marlowe stumble into the two criminals who Robby's father had been investigating at the time of his death. Giving chase, Marlowe runs into a busy street and his hit by a car, leaving Robby alone and angry once again. When Marlowe comes back as a ghost to take care of his unfinished business, Robby and his ghost dog set off to track down the two criminals and solve the circumstances surrounding the death of Robby's father in this touching story of loss and determination.moreless
