Copper Sky is a thriller western movie that focuses on the adventure of characters Haxon Williams (Jeff Morrow) and Nora Hayes (Coleen Gray). Haxon, referred to by his nickname, Hack, is an alcoholic ex-soldier bent on saving prim and proper Boston schoolteacher, Nora Hayes. Hack is the lone remaining survivor of an Indian massacre in his small home town. Nora arrives at the town right after the attack, only to find the dead citizens and Hack waiting for her. They then decide to navigate from the town, to safety together. In their quest for a safe haven they must ward off Indians, death and dehydration and traverse a desert to try to find safety. Along the way, they decide they must try and save the lives of others by warning an oncoming cavalry troop of the danger in the distance to make sure that no more will be lost to the Indians. Will they be able to reach the approaching soldiers in time, or will they succumb to the perils of their journey?
