Smith (Stephen Dorff), a former spy turned biologist, who is recalled back into active duty after the outbreak of a gruesome virus codenamed Hades in three separate, militarily sensitive areas. Lt. Smith, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Amsden (Sophia Myles) rejoins his former employer, the intelligence agency Covert One. On orders from the president (Anjelica Huston), he must track down the source of the virus outbreak and contain a potential pandemic.
