Cowboy and the Senorita is a 1944 western directed by Joseph Kane. In the film Chip (Mary Lee) is a young woman who has inherited her deceased father's gold mine. Craig Allen (John Hubbard) is an all-around bad guy who is well known in town. Mr. Allen has convinced Chip that the gold mine is worthless and her best bet is to sell it to him. Believing Craig, Chip agrees to sell the gold mine to him. When Roy (Roy Rogers) hears that Chip is going to sell he tries to convince her the gold mine is worth something. He has a clue from Chip's father that he thinks will prove the mine is not worthless. But without proof Chip has no choice to go forward with the sale. Roy along with his pal Teddy Bear (Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams) set out to follow the clues and prove the gold mine is valuable. But the men are in a race against time, can they make it before the sale is complete?moreless
