Cradle 2 the Grave is a 2003 American action film. DMX plays Anthony Fait, the leader of a crew of highly skilled criminals including Tommy (Anthony Anderson), Daria (Gabrielle Union), and Miles (Drag-On). They steal a cache of priceless diamonds, but things quickly turn against Anthony and his crew. Ling (Mark Dacascos), a former detective turned criminal mastermind, has kidnapped Anthony's daughter, Vanessa (Paige Hurd). He will only take the stolen diamonds in trade for her. Complicating matters, powerful underworld boss "Jump" Chambers (Chi McBride) stole the diamonds from Archie (Tom Arnold), who was tasked with selling the stolen goods. Anthony and his gang find an unlikely ally in Taiwan government agent, Su (Jet Li). He is Ling's former partner who has come to the United States for revenge. These strange bedfellows soon uncover a plot bigger than stolen diamonds or a kidnapped girl. Cradle 2 the Grave provides non-stop, pulse-pounding action mixing Asian martial arts with a traditional American crime drama.moreless
