Crash Drive is a dramatic production about how a successful race car driver and his family cope with the aftermath of a horrific accident. The driver, Paul Dixon (Ian Fleming), paralyzed and unable to walk as a result, feels like his future is lost. His mother (Grace Arnold) treats him like a helpless invalid which only pushes Paul further into depression. Paul's wife Ann (Wendy Williams), always concerned about his dangerous lifestyle, helps with his recovery and brings a much needed spirit of optimism into his life. Still, Paul has little real hope until he befriends another patient who plans to overcome his injuries and make a show business comeback. Sadly, an unexpected tragedy pushes Paul back into a downward emotional spiral. Can the indefatigable Ann find a way to bring him back emotionally and spiritually? Is there any way for such a man of action to cope with this kind of injury? This film delves deeply and touchingly into these core life issues.moreless
