Crazy Eights is a 2006 horror film directed by James K. Jones. The film follows six childhood friends who have been brought together again for the funeral of a friend. As they are settling the dead friend's estate they all discover a map. This map sets them all on a search for a long lost time capsule, as requested by the deceased friend. They find the time capsule, which had been buried for two decades, and dig it up. The friends are shocked by what they find in it: the corpse of a young child. This discovery leaves the friends literally haunted by their past and repressed childhood traumas are reawakened. Can they uncover the truth before they themselves end up dead? The friends must journey back to their long abandoned childhood home and come to terms with the terrible secret housed there.
