Creation of the Humanoids is a science fiction directed by Wesley Barry, based on Jack Williamson's novel The Humanoids, which centers on the survivors of a nuclear holocaust and the ultimate uprising of their cyborg helpers. After Earth is nearly decimated by a nuclear war, humans find themselves on the decline as their birthrate keeps falling. In order to help rebuild society, scientists create blue-skinned, silver-eyed advanced robots, disapprovingly called "clickers". When the human Dr. Raven (Don Doolittle) discovers and implements a process known as the Thalamic Treatment, the robots slowly begin to gain a personality of their own as the memories and traits of the recently deceased are copied into their servers. Completely unaware of their now robotic status, they begin to fight against their second-class status and the racist organization called the Order of Flesh and Blood. As Kenneth Cragis (Don Megowan) monitors the clickers for the Order, he begins to learn more about the revolution occurring amongst the survivors and its effect on not only humanity but within his own personal life.moreless
