Creepshow 2 is a Steven King anthology that delivers a blend of horror and comedy in three acts. In the first act, an elderly couple, Ray and Martha Spruce (George Kennedy and Dorothy Lamour), who run a general store with a cigar store Indian on the front porch, receive a visit from a tribal elder, Benjamin Whitemoon (Dan Karmin). Whitemoon gives them turquoise jewelry as collateral for a debt. Whitemoon's nephew, Sam, later returns to the general store with his friends, robbing and killing the Spruces. The murders awaken the cigar store Indian who mercilessly pursues Sam and his gang. In the second act, four college students are attacked by a mysterious blob while swimming in a secluded lake. In the final act, a lecherous business woman named Annie Lansing (Lois Chiles) accidentally kills a hitchhiker on the way home from a secret tryst. After speeding away from the crime scene, Lansing is pursue by the dead hitchhiker who mercilessly calls after her, "Thanks for the ride, Lady." Between each act, a young boy, Billy, arrives to receive the next installment of horror. Fans of Stephen King's earlier work will enjoy this unusual horror anthology.moreless
