Written and directed by Stephen Herek, Critters is a 1986 American horror comedy starring Dee Wallace, M. Emmet Walsh, and Billy Green Bush. The film tells the story of a family living on a farm in Kansas that becomes infested with eight creatures from outer space. Helen (Wallace) and Brad (Scott Grimes), the owners of the farm, are they held hostage by the fun-loving creatures, which bounce and play around the house, destroying everything they see. Two intergalactic bounty hunters then appear out of nowhere and attempt to capture the creatures. The hunters, however, are completely inept and are only able to accomplish their goal when they seek assistance from Helen and Brad.
