Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, the third installment in the Crocodile Dundee series, was produced in 2002 by Paul Hogan and Perry Katz. Simon Wincer directed Paul Hogan in the reprisal of his Michael "Crocodile" Dundee role. When Mick's wife Sue Charlton (Linda Kozlowski) is offered a job as the bureau chief of a newspaper in Los Angeles, the family leaves Queenstown immediately. While Mick and Sue's son becomes popular at school for demonstrating his outback skills, Mick is entangled with a mystery surrounding Sue's murdered predecessor at the newspaper. Mick discovers an evil plot by a film studio to hide both the murder and priceless works of art stolen from a museum in the former Yugoslavia. After an epic battle sequence on a film set is resolved, Mick and Sue venture back to Australia where they are married. Also starring Jere Burns, Jonathan Banks, Gerry Skilton, Steve Rackman, and Serge Cockburn, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles was panned by critics and was nominated for a Razzie Award for Worst Remake or Sequel.
