Crossplot is a 1969 English film directed by Alvin Rakoff and starring Roger Moore, Claudie Lange, and Alexis Kanner. Gary Fenn (Moore) is a London adveritisng executive who is in the process of selecting a model for his most recent campaign. The Hungarian model Marla Kugasg (Lange) is the perfect candidate, despite her status as an illegal refugee. When Fenn brings her on a photo shoot, Marla panics and goes on the run for fear of being murdered. Fenn is then suspected of another murder and he must go on the lam as well. Fenn finds Marla staying at house of Tarquin (Kanner). The three of them discover a plot by those trying to kill Marla to also kill a visiting African head of state. They then must rescue the diplomat and evade their own murders. Crossplot was poorly reviewed by critics and did not fair well at the box office.
