  • 90

    Los Angeles Times Kevin Thomas

Even though there are tedious stretches with less-than-riveting characters, the film gradually pulls you into its claustrophobic spell and becomes acutely suspenseful in its final ...

Cube, the story in question, proves surprisingly gripping, in the best ''Twilight Zone'' tradition.

    Entertainment Weekly Owen Gleiberman

This very Canadian thriller (i.e., no humor, lots of literal-minded future-shock portentousness) certainly does a number on you, though not necessarily a pleasurable one.

  • Pretty damn good movie for its time!

    9.5
It was certainly entertaining, albeit it had mediocre acting. But the characters, I could grow onto, and the ending was certainly not what I expected. Iunno, that's all I got.
