Cult of the Damned, AKA Angel, Angel, Down We Go is a 1969 crime drama directed and written by Robert Thorn. The film follows Tara Nicole Steele (played by Holly Near), the overweight debutante daughter of the world's wealthiest couple. Along with a vapid ex porn star named Astrid (played by Jennifer Jones) and a repressed man named Willy (played by Charles Aidman), Tara falls under the influence of a subversive political cult controlled by the sexually promiscuous rock star Bogart Peter Stuyvesant (played by Jordan Christopher). The cult is highly drugged out and enjoys skydiving and yelling about their ideas of American ideals. Bogart gets engaged to Tara. However he ends up seducing both her parents which forces them all to make a huge sacrifice so as to satiate Bogart's huge ego. Roddy McDowall cameos as one of the many cult followers.
