  • I think this might be the film I was looking for

I'm trying to find the title of a B&W British horror from the 1950s(?) about a stone body of a man imported to the UK for research but comes alive due to a curse. Because it's made of stone and sand it's impervious to the scientists's attempts to stop, and super strong, in the final scene it drags a woman into the sea but she's saved when the monster starts to disintegrate. I'd watched it one saturday morn when I was 6 or 7 and it sacred me to death. I'd like to add to my article I've blogged 2015/07/13/virus-john-bruno-1998-and-other-scary-films-from-my-childhood-warning-may-contain-scenes-which-some-viewers-might-find-disturbing-please-enjoy-the-film/moreless
