Daffy Duck's Movie: Fantastic Island is a 1983 animated film featuring Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Tasmanian Devil, and the rest of the classic Looney Tunes characters. The film is a compilation of several animated shorts, bridged together by an on-going story about Daffy Duck and his loyal pal, Speedy. The on-going story is a parody of the popular television show Fantasy Island, about an Island where people could pay for their wildest dreams to come true. Daffy and Speedy follow a treasure map that leads them not to a pot of gold, but a mysterious talking well that offers to grant them wishes. They devise a scheme to sell the well's wishes to the other Looney Tunes characters for a high price. The characters line-up one by one and we get to see them live out their particular fantasies. But Daffy and Speedy better watch out, because the dread pirates Yosemite Sam and Tasmanian Devil are hunting for the treasure map, which they lost in a battle with Bugs Bunny. Daffy Duck's Movie: Fantastic Island is full of classic Looney Tunes fun, featuring the talent of voice acting legend Mel Blanc.moreless
