Dagon is the 2001 cult fantasy horror mystery adapted from the works of legendary author H.P. Lovecraft, and brought to the screen by master genre filmmaker Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator, From Beyond, Dolls). Two couples yachting off the Atlantic coast of Spain are caught in a thunderstorm and their boat hits some rocks near a town. Paul Marsh (Erza Godden, Band of Brothers) and his Spanish wife Barbara (Raquel Merono, Beneath Still Waters) take the raft and go ashore while the other couple stay on board because Vickie (Birgit Bofarull) is trapped in the wreckage below decks. When Barbara and Paul reach the village, they encounter strange people who have fish or sea-life abilities. 'Half-human, half-fish', for lack of a better term. They are taken prisoner and bad things are done to them as well as the only human left in the town, the town drunk (Francisco Rabal) who's face is skinned alive by the Dagon priest.
