Dana Gould: Let Me Put My Thoughts Into You is an hour-long stand-up special performed at the Second City Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. Directed by Bob Odenkirk (Mr. Show, The Brothers), the special aired on Showtime before being released on DVD by Shout Factory. Dana Gould got his start in stand-up comedy while living in San Francisco. There, he founded the San Francisco Comedy Combo with friend and fellow comedian Alex Reid. After a move to Los Angeles, Gould wrote and performed on The Ben Stiller Show. Later, he acted in one episode of Seinfeld as "Fragile" Franky Mirman in the classic episode, "The Summer George." For six years, Gould wrote on The Simpsons, providing the voice of Barney Fife in one episode. In 2006, he left the Simpsons to focus on his own writing. His new focus eventually led to the material behind "Let me Put My Thoughts Into You," which was released in 2009.
