Danger Route is an action thriller film directed by Seth Holt based on the novel The Eliminator by Andrew York that follows British secret agent Jonas Wilde (Richard Johnson) as he tries to get out of the spy game only to find that his last mission pulls him into a much deeper mystery than his usual jobs. Sent to eliminate a Czechoslovakian scientist, Jonas manages his task beautifully with the help of a housekeeper, Rhoda Gooderich (Diana Dors). His task though does not end as he expected as the CIA swoops in and captures him for their own interrogation. When his interrogator, Lucinda (Sam Wanamaker), reveals a mysterious traitor within the British ranks causing deadly accidents for the agents and his boss has gone missing, Jonas is sent out again to figure out who the turncoat is as his colleagues continue to meet their deaths. It seems that for Wilde, his last mission could lead to more than just losing more agents but his life.moreless
